About Us

The Keys to Travel is a full-service, luxury travel agency. We help couples, families, and groups create lifelong memories together through unique, luxury travel experiences.

Where We Began

The Keys to Travel was founded by Sarah Key in 2018. Before that, she took the long journey to discovering her passion for entrepreneurship. She knew she always loved travel but didn’t know the best route to turn it into a fulfilling career. After a lot of exploration and soul searching, Sarah discovered the wonderful world of travel advisors. With her passion for travel, organization, and helping others experience all this world has to offer, Sarah built The Keys to Travel from the ground up.

About Sarah Key,
Founder & Lead Travel Advisor

From a young age, I knew travel was going to be a big part of my life. Even though my family wasn’t big into traveling, I would go out of my way to seek opportunities to travel, including joining the marching band in high school so I could go to Hawaii. After moving to Colorado from Wisconsin with my now husband, I discovered the world of entrepreneurship. A week after coming back from our trip to Italy, the opportunity to become a travel advisor presented itself and I jumped right in. Now I get to work hard and play hard doing what I love and surrounded by those I love. We recently welcomed our first baby boy into our family in June of 2023. My husband and I cannot wait to experience this world together as a family of 3. Get ready for all the family-travel tips!

Fun Facts About Me

  • I love being active, from running to yoga to hiking.
  • I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which means I will always be a diehard Packer Fan!
  • I’m an Enneagram 7.
  • I love to read all the time. I normally am reading 2-3 books at a time!

In order to create a seamless travel experience for our clients, we design complete vacation experiences customized to each traveler, which can include everything from airfare, transportation, hotel accommodations, experiences, and travel insurance. We are there for our clients from day one to the day you return from your trip. It’s nice to know you have a travel expert in your corner for any situation that may arise!

Along with our personal experiences and expertise, we partner with local companies based in destinations around the world to support your travels, provide a local contact, and ensure top-quality accommodations, drivers, and guides. With the knowledge we bring to the table along with our partners, we are able to create the most customized itinerary for each traveler. Partnering with local suppliers provides top-quality resources and support for our clients.
